Resource Committee

The SAM’s Kids resource committee is a list of people who are willing to be supporters of our organization. There are two primary purposes for this committee.

The first will be as a resource for a child or family in need. We work with a lot of families and at times there may be need that we are not sure how to fill. This may include items such as a winter coat, a modem for a computer, a bed, a desk, or even something like a basketball for recreation. If we come across a certain need we can make a quick contact to our resource committee to see if anyone has that item they can donate.

The second purpose of the resource committee is to support the local businesses that help us work with the kids here in Frederick County. We will continually update the committee of any businesses that give us donations, sponsor an event, or other activities to support our organization. This way our supporters can use these businesses to thank them for helping us. We may also be able to offer our supporters occasional special offers or opportunities from these businesses. To become a member of our resource committee we need your name and mailing address. An email address would also be helpful, as most of our correspondence will be via this method. We do plan on completing a newsletter in the near future. ALL INFORMATION YOU GIVE US WILL BE STRICTLY PROTECTED. We will not share you name, address, or email with any entity, for any reason. This information will be for internal use only.
