SAM’s Kids is a Frederick County Charity that is working for Frederick County Kids and Families.  SAM’s is an acronym for three of our core values that are the foundation for our programming.  (S)elf-Discipline, (A)ccountability, and (M)orality. 

We are working to provide programming that helps the children and Families of Frederick County find increased happiness and success.  We provide a wide range of services for children between the ages of five and eighteen.  All of our programming utilizes a cognitive/behavioral training model called the Think First Program.  The program promotes leadership and emotional control skills.  The program uses evidence-based training to develop a self-efficacy that empowers our participants to identify and overcome challenges in their lives.
